Who are we?
TourAI is an independent digital tourism project created by Jordi Perelló, a developer and travel enthusiast based in Spain. We were born from a simple idea: that anyone should be able to explore a city with the same depth they would get from a local guide, but at their own pace, in their own language and from their mobile.
This website, tourai.es, is the official portal of the project: information about the app, contact, support and access to the private account area for registered users.
What does TourAI do?
TourAI is a mobile application that combines artificial intelligence, geolocation and audio guides to offer a personalised travel experience:
- AI chat: ask about monuments, history, restaurants or transport and receive contextualised answers.
- Voice queries: interact with the app whilst walking, without stopping to type.
- Interactive maps: discover nearby points of interest and start GPS-guided walks.
- Immersive audio guides: listen to narrations triggered by your location as you approach each point.
- Plans and bonuses: get a temporary plan or redeem a promotional bonus to use the map, chat and audio guides.
The application is currently in development and testing. The iOS and Android versions will be published in the official stores when they are ready.
Our mission
We want to democratise access to quality cultural information. We believe that travelling should not depend on booking expensive tours or carrying outdated printed guides. TourAI works with temporary plans and promotional bonuses that unlock full access to the app.
